Importance: Spelling Inventory's are important to the education of children because they provide a way for students to be tested and examined to determine where they stand academically compared to their peers without actually feeling compared or anxious. Importance: Even though I am not sure exactly what the difference between a spelling inventory and a feature guide is, they are both important to determining where a child is at in their learning process.
